Funrunners Promise #1
A Promise to double the tourism in 18 months, and double again within 60 months. Now I am sure you realize how large that number really is. I assure you I realize the statement I am making and I hope this is given serious thought. However, I am not going to disclose on this media the full plan. I will say this: We will have the name Nicaragua, on every tongue and in every mind. We are going to create a mental desire to see Nicaragua. Maybe it's the Funrunners International Fishing Tournament, or the race down the coast for 200K prize. Or maybe it is simply to enjoy the culture and relax while looking for a place to retire. Whatever the reason there will be a reason in the heart and minds of millions.
Tourism now is in the 250.000 to 300,000 a year. What I am saying and standing by is that within 18 months of the launch that number will be 500,000 a year. And within a five year period Nicaragua Tourism will be at over ONE million tourist a year. I know there is no need to mention what that would do for the country, it's people and it's economy.
What I am asking for is the lease of property for light development for tourism. What I mean by light is that very few permanent structures could be built until the 1.000.000 tourist arrives.
The plan is simply the Government lease to Funrunners (for $1 a year) some large land tracts in the interior for various tours, some ocean front for surfers, etc. The point is this, the land is vacant, you give me 5 years and see if I produce as I say. If, I do the government then leases in a 30 year term, with that we can build permanent tourist attractions, most will be partnerships with local Nicaraguans. IF I DO NOT, I have lost everything and it is all back to the government, no questions. It is up to the government to be satisfied with Funrunners.
The reason this has to be kept a secret is we need to make a splash announcement, that totally is unexpected. It is so profound every paper in the world would carry the story.
